Today we had bees thinking about forming a swarm - by the looks of thing - on out back porch. I had to persuade them to move on. I felt bad about doing that but they would be better off elsewhere.
HOLY COW! Actually, the answer to that question is... yes. When we lived in San Diego, a swarm dividing took a rest in a small (pine-ish?) tree in our backyard. We had a beekeeper come out and pack 'em up and give them a new home. It was a LOT of bees!

Well, it seemed like 15K bees on the side of my house! Had to get a beekeeper to get them to go away. Really scary!
No I cannot say I have seen 15,000 bees in one place. Yipes!
Too many bees for me at once! It has gotta be a cloud buzzin!
Haven't seen that many bees before. Usually we have them swarming in the spring to the flowers but never that many. It just sounds like thousands.
I haven't seen that many bees in a long time. Seems like there is less and less every year! They are critical to so many things.
That gives me the creeps! We have bees forming a nest in my wooden clothesline poles. I think we are going to have to call an exterminator.
ONly in photos! It looks kool!
Arrived here via SlogBite!

OMG That must have took you so long to count them all! Specially when they were all moving around so much!
